Crux air fryer/toaster oven artisan series stopped heating evenly
Both bottom heating elements stopped working a few months ago. The top heating elements work fine.
So now all we can do is broil. Baking is uneven. We can't even make decent toast. So I'm either getting rid of this piece of crap in the nearest dumpster, or, if I can find some simple online solution, I'll try and fix it.
So far I can't find anything online about repairing this thing, probably because most (smarter) people just trashed theirs after theirs stopped working. Then maybe I'll try selling it for $20. I realize that might be a little too optimistic. I might even take $15.
As I recall, this thing cost over $200 at Target a few years back. Plus another $20 in 9.75% CA sales tax. Plus an extended warranty for another $30 or $40.
Plus some asinine environmental recycle *** surcharge. I think my warranty expired last year.

Poor Warranty Support on known problem with their Air Fryer handle
PThe handle broke on our CRUX Air Fryer. After googling the problem, I learned this was a common problem with our model.
It apparently was a bad design. Other customers have complained. I contacted CRUX Warranty department and later provided them with everything they asked for except the sale receipt, which we do not have. WE did have the original box that had the Macy's order slip information on it, but not the price.
After following up with the Warranty department, the representative informed me nothing could be done without a copy of the sales receipt. She got VERY nasty and refused to transfer me to a supervisor, and basically told me to go to *** I will never purchase anything with their brand on it and will let Macy's know of their lack of support.
Preferred solution: Repair or replacement of product

Bad experience with the crux brand coffee maker
The crux coffee maker I purchased makes a single serve cup or carafe pot. The single side quit working.
Contacted Crux and they wanted a video of the issue. Made one but it was or big to send but had to be that big to show problem. Wanted me to cut cord and send in picture but I would not get a replacement or refund for 6 to 8 weeks so they expected me to go without coffee for that 6 to 8 week time. I proposed refunding half the money to me so at least
I could have coffee from the carafe side until I could replace the single side unit.
They said no. They did not have a replacement so they must have had a lot of issues with them. They want you to jump thru all kinds of hoopes but in the end they will not honor the warranty on their faulty product.
I would not recommend the Crux brand. I will never buy another Crux product.
